![]() Unlike Google Stadia online game service which streamed the games like Video streaming. Online gaming uses very little data!!! It doesn't take much data to tell each other where everything is located. Or, you could at your modem box, and find it's mac address, and look for that in wireshark. Then, find your router's gateway address. Log into the router, the instructions should be printed on a sticker on the device. You can check if you are seeing your modem, by finding your connection's gateway IP. Virtualbox network adapters do though, so I would imagine most nic already have it enabled. I highly doubt your ethernet / wifi adapter software will even allow the option to enable or disable promicous mode. Nope, this issue has been around since at least 2012, and it hasn't changed. However in rare cases, wireshark mentions that (and never once have I experienced this issue) "promicous" mode could be difficult to enable on Windows, but that is probably outdated information. Yep, only mdns and broadcasts is what I'm able to capture from other devices. I can see modem activity, router, and all connected devices from televisions to smartphones. Usually you should just see the entire lan traffic. If anyone could help me with this I would appreciate it. Someone has stolen Wi-Fi from us before so I also would like to make sure that nobody is stealing her Wi-Fi if it's neither her streaming services or my games. I want to see specifics so that I can know how much is being used by streaming services versus how much is being used by games that I play. I want to know if there's no way that I can see all the traffic on our wifi. She even leaves the TV on most of the time before she goes to work and I come home to it still being on. Sometimes my dad will be watching YouTube TV on a different TV while hes cooking and my mom is still in the living room watching Netflix on the TV in there so we have 2 tvs going at once. Now my mom still thinks it's me even tho she is constantly sitting in the living room with my dad and they are constantly watching TV on YouTube TV or Netflix. Something you should know is a while back we got rid of our cable and have only streaming services. Now that I'm back in school I am playing way less games and it's still going up. ![]() Her argument is I play too many video games which I was fine with over the summer I guess. Every month it goes goes over and every month she blames me and tries to make me pay for it all.
